Documenting Women

“Growing up in the light skin colour obsessed society, it always made me question if I am beautiful?

And it took me all these years to understand the beauty of a person cannot come in a shade card.It comes when you know your flaws and appreciate & love yourself..

A deep realisation that you are more than your physical attributes- you are a soul.”-

Shikha is a captivating individual,

As I effortlessly click her away while learning about her genuine passion for rescuing dogs.

Talking about everything from rescue dogs, fashion, and the adorned canvas of tattoos on a girl amongst other things…

Every time she speaks, it’s like flipping through the pages of a fascinating story.

Shikha isn’t just about the Instagram-worthy moments; her commitment to rescuing and adopting dogs is a deeply heartfelt endeavor.

Being in her company feels like enjoying a good cup of coffee and engaging in meaningful conversation with an original and caring soul.

These pictures have a very special place in my heart.

Not only am I capturing my sister in the frame which always flows seamlessly, it’s also because of @colourbound’s openness as an artist and an individual.

Ambika is an intuitive self taught artist who found her true calling as intuitive artist as the pandemic hit for us all.

For me putting together art and photography has been a dream project and I’m certain there’s more to come.

Especially with my all time favourite muse.
